Terms of Member2Member Mentoring Program
I acknowledge that the FWA Mentoring Program is exclusively for FWA members in good standing who have a minimum of five years of professional experience. I understand that space is limited and that I may not be selected for the Winter 2026 - Spring 2027 Cohort. As space is limited, I understand that by applying to the program I fully intend to participate in the program if selected. If something changes in my circumstances and I am not able to participate, I will notifiy the co-chairs immediately to either pull my application from consideration or remove me from the program. This cohort program duration will be from November 2026, through April 2027. If selected, I commit to meeting with my mentor on a regular basis (at least monthly) as planned in the initial meeting. As a Mentee, I understand that it is my responsibility to schedule meetings with my mentor. As a Mentee, I understand that the FWA Mentoring Program is not designed to find participants jobs. I commit to communicate effectively, follow up on discussions, and share knowledge and expertise with my mentor. I understand that I will be asked for feedback on the program, and I agree to be responsive to these requests.
Additionally, as of the above date, if I am matched, I will do my best to attend the following events in person or virtually from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Kick-Off Event: Monday, November 9, 2026
- Check-In: Monday, February 1, 2027
- Closing: Monday, April 26, 2027
I understand that a successful mentor/mentee relationship requires open and honest discussion and is a confidential relationship.
