2023 Wall Street Exchange Graduation

August 3, 2023

On Tuesday, August 1st, FWA celebrated the 2023 Wall Street Exchange program graduates and their accomplishments throughout the eight-week summer program.

Graduates were greeted by Albana Theka, FWA’s President-Elect, and then treated to a presentation by Tiffanie Gray, Senior Vice President and Branch Manager, Purchase, NY, for Wells Fargo Advisors, who shared her advice to her 21-year-old self.

Tiffanie Gray

She summed up her advice by using the acronym GRIT:

  • Grit - show perseverance when faced with challenges
  • Representation- sit at the table and speak up
  • Intuition - trust your instincts and take 24 hours before making major decisions
  • Trust the journey - the path to success is not a straight line

After Gray’s presentation, graduates were presented with their certificates by Gerri Bostick and Laura Smith Dunaief, WSE Co-chairs, and all graduates were gifted an FWA-branded hoodie. The 10 participants with perfect attendance throughout the summer’s program also received a special gift.

Special thanks to Wells Fargo Advisors for sponsoring this in-person celebration and to all of this summer’s sponsors and speakers, who bring this program to life for the interns who represent financial services’ future. Thanks also to the WSE committee members and the FWA Office for their support.
