Mentoring has become one of the fastest growing career coaching platforms. The FWA Member2Member mentoring program supports the FWA mission of accelerating the leadership and success of women in the financial community by pairing members with extensive career experience with members looking to advance their careers and build leadership skills.

This program is offered, at no charge, as a benefit to qualifying members of the FWA. If you have at
least five years of professional work experience and are interested in participating in the program as a mentee, you are eligible to apply. The last application deadline was Friday, October 6, 2023.

Eligible mentee candidates may be required to participate in an interview, which will be used as a basis to match each mentee with a mentor. We look for common areas of interest and/or experience to guide us in the matching process. After submitting your application, we will contact you if an appropriate match is identified for you. Based on the availability of mentors, applicants may be placed on a wait list and/or may have to wait until the next cohort.

In addition to the one-on-one meetings that mentees will schedule with their mentors, applicants should do their best to make themselves available to attend the following three events in virtually from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. via Zoom (log-in information will be provided to participants):

  • Kick-Off Event: November 6, 2023
  • Check-In: January 29, 2024
  • Closing: April 15, 2024

If you have questions about the program or are interested in participating in the program as a mentor, please contact our Co-Chairs, Jennifer Covell – [email protected] and Jacqueline Wahba – [email protected]

Our FWA Member2Member mentoring program is available to FWA members who can attend the above three events via Zoom. Student members are not eligible for the Member2Member mentoring program.

Our goal is to establish meaningful Mentor and Mentee partnerships through which the pair works together to empower the Mentee by helping to identify abilities and opportunities. We also encourage networking and reverse mentoring among members of the Cohort.
