A lively wrap up of the activities sponsored by the FWA during 2010-11 and a preview of things to come in 2011-2012 were the main substance of the FWA Annual Meeting, held in the offices of Morgan Stanley on June 20.
Following a reception and welcome from Tracy Castle-Newman of the Morgan Stanley Women's Network, Susan Ganz, FWA president during 2010-2011, provided an overview of the past year and shared some of the many things she had learned while at the helm of the organization.
Fuller details are presented in her 2010-11 Annual Report.
Nominating Committee Chair, Lily Klebanoff Blake, presented the slate of officers for election.
The Altman Group had donated its services in soliciting proxies for the meeting and Tanya Holland from the firm, certified the quorum and results of the election: Inspector of Election
- President-Elect – Susan Harper
- Treasurer – Barbara Cohen

- Nominating Committee – Joan Shapiro Green and Phyllis Haberman
Following reports from Treasurer Karen Rockey and Executive Director Nancy Sellar, Susan Ganz passed the gavel to her successor, Anne Izzillo. Anne offered her vision for the FWA in the coming year and introduced the directors and other leaders for 2011-12.
She urged the attendees, especially the new members recognized at the event, to become involved in the committees
that will carry out the 2011-12 initiatives.
