Our most recent event, "Oh My Ladies: Why Wait for New Year's Day!!" with the FWA LI at Oh My Girls held on December 5, 2011 in Syosset on Long Island was a huge success. This event consisted of a healthy cooking class on green eating Oh My Girls natural food Chef. Ladies found the event great for networking and learning how to cook healthier while catering to various types of food restrictions if needed such as lactose intolerance, Celeax disease, low fat eating requirements, diabetes and overall healthy eating requirements. Over 40 women attendee's had the opportunity to prepare and sample many several recipes including nori sushi rolls, vegetable tofu stir fry, hummus and grape leaves as well as sipping wine or smoothies honors of Oh My Girls. Each attendee received a copy of several recipes and some even packed a doggie bag.

The event also included cocktails and hors d'oeuvres which provided attendees an opportunity to network with other women professionals from Long Island. Special thanks to Oh My Girls for partnering with FWA Long Island Chapter.
