2011 Wall Street Exchange Program - A Great Success - Aug 9th

Congratulations to Sharon Brouillette and Gerri Facchine for the outstanding job they did on the 2011 Wall Street Exchange Program!

Over 40 college seniors, both women and men, participated in the nine week professional development training program while interning at some of the leading financial services companies, such as Bloomberg, ThomsonReuters and Williams Capital, to name a few. Students hailed from Harvard, Yale, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, Pace and Alleghany College and many other east coast schools.

Students raved about the UBS-sponsored jobs information program, NY Life resume critiquing session, financial literacy briefing, as well as networking opportunities with Wall Street's best and with each other. Students will continue these great peer-to-peer networking opportunities and their relationship with FWA through LinkedIn.

Last night (Aug 9), was the big finale, a generous reception hosted by FWA President Circle member Chartis downtown. Anne Izzillo wowed the crowd with an engaging and humorous speech touting the benefits of FWA. Students received commemorative certificates marking the completion of the nine week program.

Kudos to Sharon and Gerri for a job well done!
