FWA News - FWA BMO Capital Markets Scholarship Recipients from Murry Bergstraum High School

As we continue the Financial Women’s Association collaboration with Murry Bergtraum High School - we strive for excellence in our scholarship recipients.

This year we were lucky to have nine new graduates of Murry Bergtraum High School in lower Manhattan awarded scholarships from the FWA. The selection was made from members of the senior class who met our academic requirements and participated in the FWA’s high school mentoring program. The generous contribution to the FWA Educational Fund from BMO Capital Markets Equity Through Education program is funding these awards.

This year’s scholarship recipients are:

Samantha DeMicco
Victoria Fan
Miguelina Garcia
Cindy Lin
Dana Alle Martin
Cristabell Ramdial

Juceliz will be attending Syracuse University, Bermania will be attending Smith College, Erika will be going to Wheaton College, Samantha is going to St. Francis College, Victoria will be attending Syracuse University, Miguelina will be going to Johnson & Wales University, Cindy will be attending Syracuse University, Dana Alle will be going to Stony Brook University, and Cristabell will be going off to St. Bonaventure University.

Their mentors are: Geraldine Suida (Juceliz), Ling Tsou (Bermania), Patrica Lucey (Erika), Tedora Coppola (Samantha), Lydia Kelfa (Victoria), Mary Anne Liss (Miguelina), Adele Epstein (Cindy), Phyllis Haberman (Dana Alle) and Peggy Decker (Cristabell).
