The Indian Opportunity - A Tiger Tale Without Travel 2009 FWA International Business Conference
On Saturday May 9, 2009, the FWA held its engaging full-day conference entitled “The Indian Opportunity – A Tiger Tale Without Travel at The Weissman Center for International Business at Baruch College in New York. The conference was targeted at professionals that have strategic interests or investments in India, manage an operational presence in the country, or conduct business development or marketing with Indian consumers or companies. Over 100 attendees heard interactive discussions from high-caliber keynote speakers and panelists on various political, economic, and business topics. Luminaries at the conference included Ambassador Frank Wisner, Dr. A.M. Gondane (Deputy Consul General of India in New York) and Ms. Pallavi Shroff (Lead Litigation Partner, Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co).
