FWA Members are TIAW Members too!

The International Alliance for Women is a business women’s networking organization of nearly 50 associations with more than 50,000 members in over 20 countries. Its official mission statement notes that it “unites, supports and promotes professional women and their networks to work together, share resources and leverage ideas.” FWA was a founding network of TIAW (now 30 years ago) and continues to be a very active member, thus providing many benefits to you as an FWA member.

FWA members can use TIAW to make connections throughout the world for their businesses – finding someone in their industry, or to learn more about the local business atmosphere or opportunities. Networks are now based in Australia, Africa, Canada, Chile, India, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, throughout Europe, and across the United States.

FWA members also have available to them all the TIAW programs, to complement those provided by FWA; these focus on entrepreneurs, microenterprise funding, mentoring of high-school girls, placing women on boards, and a corporate women’s leadership network program. Refer to the TIAW website for further details: www.tiaw.org. In addition, as an FWA member, you can attend all TIAW events at member prices, or use its website to highlight your business and reach other members.
FWA’s representative to TIAW, Lisa Mezzetti, is always available to help you make these connections. Contact her at lmezzetti@cohenmilstein.com.

TIAW serves as a global umbrella organization that unites, supports and promotes professional women and their networks to work together, share resources and leverage ideas. It has more than 30 network members representing more than 50,000 women world-wide. FWA is one of its founding network members. Because the FWA is a member organization, FWA members are automatically members of TIAW.
