The FWA is welcome to join the New York University (NYU) Stern Women in Business (SWIB) for the 20th Annual Stern Women in Business Conference on Friday, February 3rd, 2012! The event promises to be a truly special and celebratory occasion, as this year also represents the 40th anniversary of the SWIB association.
The goal of this year's conference, "Leading with Purpose, Making an Impact," is to give participants insight into the values and motivations that inspired women in a variety of industries to become successful leaders. The conference will also explore how these women are able to use their positions to create change, whether this change involves impacting an organization internally, altering the consumer product landscape, furthering a social cause, or otherwise improving the workplace or the world.
The afternoon Keynote Speaker is Arianna Huffington, President and Editor-in-Chief of the Huffington Post Media Group. Featured speakers at this year's conference include Deanie Elsner, President of Beverages at Kraft, Anita Sands, COO of UBS Wealth Management, Nicole Sanford, Partner at Deloitte & Touche and FWA Member, and Pattie Sellers, Editor-at-large of Fortune.
