LinkedIn has become the business standard for having an online professional profile. Whether you’re in transition, looking for your next career opportunity or just want to reconnect with former business colleagues, an organized and attractive LinkedIn profile is a must. This class will be an introductory and interactive ‘hands-on’ computer training class conducted at the SIBL computer center. This class is for you if you answer ‘yes’ to all or most of the following questions:

  • Would you like to know how to open up a LinkedIn account?
  • Are you concerned about your online privacy? Has this concern kept you from setting up a LinkedIn profile?
  • Do you already have a LinkedIn account but haven’t done much with it?
  • Would you like to have a professional looking profile but aren’t sure how to take your paper resume and turn it into an online one?
  • Would you like to know more about how to set up your account preferences?
  • Would you like to find and invite connections but aren’t sure how to do it?

At the end of the session, you’ll have a LinkedIn profile set up with your own customized account settings. You’ll also know how to invite connections, accept invitations, and begin to find LinkedIn groups that interest you.
