Speaker Profile


Laura Smith Dunaief is a Principal at LASD Resource Development, a consultancy providing Training and Leadership Development programs for corporations and non-profits and Career Transition Skills workshops and coaching to individuals and groups.

She has over twenty years’ experience as a manager and director for sales and service organizations in the financial services arena, and is adept at weaving relevant scenarios and practical activities into her facilitated workshops.

Her corporate clients include many international private banks and investment banks. She also serves on the faculty of the American Management Association and the New York Institute of Finance, and she is a member of Advisory Board for the CLO Institute.

Laura’s “Career Networking” column appears regularly in The Times Beacon Record Newspapers, covering Long Island. Reprints of past columns can be found at www.lasd.typepad.com.

A magna cum laude graduate of New York University, Ms. Smith Dunaief holds a B.A. in Organizational Behavior & Communication, with honors in the social sciences. She is active in professional organizations and is a current member of the FWA, where she serves on the Career Connections committee and as a student mentor.
