Sweeping changes in the way we work, live and build careers are here, and here to stay. The recent turmoil in the financial services industry certainly gives testament to that. Mass Career Customization (MCC) offers a model that responds to the realities of today’s workforce . It is centered on the powerful insight that the career journeys of today's knowledge professionals look less like a straight line up the corporate ladder and more like a sine wave of sorts, with rising and falling phases of engagement over time. Come learn about this new model for how careers are built, and how companies can attract talent and strengthen leadership pipelines while providing these more varied and paced career journeys. The Mass Career Customization framework enables the paradigm shift from corporate ladder to corporate lattice that is already underway.
Mass Career Customization: Aligning the Workplace with Today’s Workforce features Anne Weisberg, co-author of the book by the same title. Anne is a director in the Talent organization specializing in inclusion strategies for the Deloitte U.S. Firms. She is a specialist in the field of gender and work/life integration.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Anne was a senior director in the advisory services practice at Catalyst, where she advised clients on diversity strategies. She directed a large-scale study of careers in the legal profession, Women in Law: Making the Case (Catalyst, 2001). Anne is also co-author of Everything a Working Mother Needs to Know (Doubleday, 1994). Previously, she practiced law in New York and clerked for a federal judge in Chicago.
Anne received her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School and her Bachelor of Science degree Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley.
At the conclusion of the presentation, join Anne as she signs copies of her recent book.
