The 2008 FWA Annual Dinner has been set for Wednesday, April 30th, at the Grand Hyatt New York. This year, as always, the event will be a place where financial professionals from both the public and private sectors meet and mingle over a sumptuous spread for cocktails and dinner. Now in formation is a distinguished dais of key leaders from important financial services firms in support of the FWA and in recognition of the accomplishments of our two Women of the Year.

At this year’s dinner, you will be able to hear from Christine Poon, Johnson & Johnson’s Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Worldwide Chairman of the Pharmaceuticals Group, and Evelyn Lauder, Senior Corporate Vice President of The Estée Lauder Companies and Founder and Chairman of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The leadership roles of these women and the experiences they share will contribute greatly to a stimulating evening.

And as always, the funds raised that evening support the FWA of New York Educational Fund, which subsidizes our scholarship and mentoring to young women, financial literacy to teens and economically disadvantaged adults, our Wall Street Exchange summer intern program, and educational programs for the business community. You’ll have a chance to see for yourself some of the amazing students who benefit from our programs and to hear a representative speak—a memorable moment for so many attendees each year.

We hope that you’ll contribute to the success of the evening by asking your firm and your industry contacts to purchase a table. For details on reserving corporate tables, please get in touch with Jennifer Durst, Director of Development at jdurst@fwa.org.
