Gather with us for breakfast as the Government Affairs Committee presents one of our briefing series, “A Life in Politics and Government.” This event, exclusive to FWA members, will be a small, working session with an open dialogue and conversation focusing on life in the public sector, and what you can do to get involved. This is a unique opportunity to speak with two prominent women about what it is really like to have a career in politics and government.
Many of our FWA members have expressed an interest in political careers or becoming involved politically and want to discover what choices are available to them. This session will provide individuals the opportunity to have their questions answered and options explored. Our panelists will tell you how they became involved in politics and what advice they can offer professional women who want to become involved.
We are honored to have US Congressional Representative Carolyn Maloney (D - NY) and Ester Fuchs as our panelists.
