Speakers:Carol Frohlinger is a co-founder of Negotiating Women Inc. a company that provides negotiation, leadership training and coaching for women as well as consulting services for their organizations. A co-author of Her Place at the Table: A Woman’s Guide to Negotiating Five Key Challenges to Leadership Success, she is an expert on how negotiation skills can help women to advance in business. She holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
Jane Linder is the author of Spiral Up (and other management secrets behind wildly successful initiatives) and president of the Progress Board, a consulting company that helps clients with innovation. Previously she was a director of research at Accenture, a professor at Harvard Business School and a senior executive at Polaroid. She also spent over ten years implementing business processes and the associated information systems at several global manufacturing firms. Jane is a research fellow with CFO Publishing and is conducting a study of the strategic role of finance in the world’s largest banking organizations. She is also a principal and member of the board of one of the nation’s largest privately-held IT services firms.
Stacie Nevadomski Berdan is the co-author of Get Ahead By Going Abroad: A Woman’s Guide to Fast-Track Career Success. Stacie’s professional responsibilities have spanned more than 50 countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe and South America. She began at Burson-Marsteller, a global communications firm, rising from entry level to senior management. Later she went “in house” at Unilever, a consumer product companies. During her 15-year career, she counseled senior executives, international non-profit organizations and several foreign governments in the area of strategic business communication. It was her three years in Hong Kong, however, that gave her the opportunity to effectively differentiate and distinguish herself. She returned to Washington, D.C., with greater responsibility, jumping from vice-president to global account managing director.
Moderator: Shoya Zichy is the author of Women and the Leadership Q and the recently published Career Match: Connecting Who You Are With What You’ll Love To Do. Her background includes 15 years in marketing and client management at Citibank, Merrill Lynch and American Express with a four-year assignment to Hong Kong. She conducts seminars on leadership and team building and is an adjunct lecturer at NYU.
