History
The Not-for-Profit committee was formed to meet the needs of an ever-growing number of members from the not-for-profit sector and to inform others about that growing part of the economy.

Description

The Committee does four events per year. Members help plan the events, suggest speakers, coordinate marketing, help at the event, and follow up with potential members. The Committee tends to get significant numbers of non-members at it events so explaining the advantages of FWA membership is an important role.

Events plans for this year are:

  • September – NFP 101- NFP Finance and Governance Primer
  • November – Socially Responsible Investing
  • January – Joint Event with Microfinance or Board Match Up Event
  • April – Members in Transition/ Boards in Transition- Managing the Process
