The principal objective of the International Affairs Committee is to develop the FWA’s annual International Conference to familiarize delegates with an economy in flux or performing with distinction. This objective is accomplished through substantial business and cultural programs that give delegates first hand exposure to the country’s commercial, cultural, and political leaders.

FWA International Business Conference -2008 Destination: Russia

You’ve been hearing for months that the FWA’s 2008 International Conference will take place in Russia. Our hardworking committee has now confirmed the dates and booked the space and we can provide the details.

The FWA delegation will depart New York for St. Petersburg on Thursday, May 22 and return on Saturday, May 31 from Moscow. The cost of the trip for members, including economy class group air travel, double occupancy lodging, group transfers, breakfasts, tours and admission fees, and conference fees is $6,000 for members and $7,300 for non members. Three nights will be spent in St. Petersburg and five in Moscow.

Mayakovskyi Square, Moscow
The conference will begin with three days of cultural tours in St. Petersburg, followed by five full days of business meetings, one in St. Petersburg and four in Moscow. We plan to meet with foremost business and government leaders during the conference. In addition to the conference, you can elect to take a post conference tour in and around Moscow or other areas, which may be arranged through our tour manager, Exeter International.
