Purpose

---

The Holiday Party is an annual tradition of the FWA conducted in order to raise funds for the Educational Fund and to provide a venue for members to reconnect. The purpose of the committee is to organize and prepare a rewarding, fun-filled, fundraising, fabulous FWA Holiday Benefit!

Objectives

---

	Coordinate with FWA senior leaders to identify the date, location, President’s Circle sponsors participation and strategy for the Holiday Benefit.
	Find the location and caterer for the Holiday Benefit.
	Organize logistical details and planning calendar, including budget, marketing, etc.
	Solicit companies and stores for raffle donations (ex: jewelry, vacations, spa certificates, hotel stays, and other products and services).
	Maintain regular communication among committee members and volunteers to keep Holiday Benefit plans moving forward.

Meeting Schedule

Initial planning meetings ad hoc. Monthly meetings through summer, with email updates continuous. Weekly conference calls leading up to Holiday Benefit event.

The Holiday Benefit raffle is an important component of the evening – showcasing supportive donors and raising funds to benefit the FWA Educational Fund. We appreciate FWA members’ assistance with the solicitation of raffle donors!

2009 Holiday Benefit Highlights

---

On December 15th there were over 190 FWA members, NYSE employees and guests gathered at NYSE Euronext for the 2009 Holiday Benefit. Approximately $33,000 was raised for the Educational Fund and in today’s economy, we exceeding expectations.
