FWA Network

Through relationships with international professional women's organizations, the FWA is creating new opportunities for members to expand their business connections across the U.S and around the world. Members of the FWA are automatically members of The International Alliance for Women (TIAW) and the New York Women's Agenda (NYWA) -- offering a global network totalling thousands of professional women in the business, not-for-profit and government sectors.

The organizations below are organized based on their relationship to the
FWA of New York, Inc.

The International Alliance for Women (TIAW) serves as the global umbrella organization that unites, supports and promotes professional women and their networks to work together, share resources and leverage ideas. The purpose of TIAW is to encourage, develop, fund and implement programs that foster economic empowerment and advancement for women around the world. Current membership includes both individuals and more than 40 associations representing more than 50,000 women worldwide.

TIAW members are leaders in their respective communities (executives, professionals and entrepreneurs), hailing from a variety of business, academic, government and nonprofit organizations. FWA is an association member of TIAW's umbrella of businesswomen-networks and, indeed, was one of its founding members in 1980.

The FWA is a founding organization of TIAW, and FWA members are automatically members of TIAW. FWA Members therefore can attend TIAW events at member rates.
